Stefanellie Saavedra began her journey as a performer and educator back in 2007. She is extremely passionate about performance and finding the ability to express ideas and emotions through movement. She has developed an incredible love for teaching and helping others find that internal switch, which allows them to put the true 150% into their craft that they want to. Stefanellie has marched Raiders DBC 2013, and went on to march 14-15 with the Bluecoats. As for the indoor scene, she has marched the Raiders IA 2009 guard, Emanon IA 2014, and finally Emanon IW 2015. She has taught Montville HS in 2014, when they placed 2nd at US Bands Nationals and when they became US Bands Group IIIA National Champions in 2015. She believes that one’s approach and mentality going into any challenge is they key to success. It isn’t just about having the best hands or the best feet. Stef is extremely excited to come back for a second year with East Coast Percussion and is ready to break stereotypes when it comes to drummers ever having the ability to dance. We are all performers alike.
